The Pittsburgh Penguins have agreed to terms with goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic on a one-year, $1.5 million contract on Saturday.
Nedeljkovic posted a 5-7-2 record with a 3.53 goals-against average and .895 save percentage in 15 games with the Detroit Red Wings during the 2022-23 season.
He also played in 26 games with the Grand Rapids Griffins of the American Hockey League and had a 13-9-3 record, 2.71 GAA and .912 save percentage.
The 27-year-old from Parma, Ohio, was drafted in the second round, 37th overall, by the Carolina Hurricanes in 2014. He holds a career 42-38-15 record over six NHL seasons with the Hurricanes and Red Wings.
