There appears to be good news on the injury front for Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry.
Penguins coach Mike Sullivan told reporters Thursday that "all of (Jarry's) testing came back positive" after the goalie exited a game on Tuesday against Anaheim with a cut near his right eye during the second period.
"The only challenge is that his eye is closed with the swelling. So he has a little bit of limited vision … When that goes down, I think he’ll be good to go," Sullivan said.
Jarry's head hit Ducks forward Adam Henrique, who had his back turned to the goalie outside the crease, yet Jarry still inadvertently stopped the puck when Henrique attempted to fire a rebound shot underneath him.
Jarry, a two-time all-star, is 4-5 with a 2.51 goals-against average and .907 save percentage.
Magnus Hellberg will start in net Thursday for the Penguins against the Los Angeles Kings
