Pittsburgh Penguins forward Evgeni Malkin will not play in Friday's game against the New York Rangers due to a non-COVID illness, the team announced.
Malkin skated with the team on Friday morning but was not present for warmups prior to the game.
The 35-year-old has recorded 13 goals and 15 assists in 29 games for the Penguins this season.
