The Pittsburgh Penguins will get Evgeni Malkin back in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Dallas Stars.
Malkin was considered a game-time decision after missing the last four games with an upper-body injury.
"He was cleared for contact," Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan told reporters Friday. "I would expect him to be a game-time decision."
The 38-year-old has appeared in 62 games with the Penguins this season, scoring 15 goals and 46 points.
Pittsburgh also sent forward Emil Bemstrom to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League on Friday to make room on the roster for Malkin.
