The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed free agent forward Drake Caggiula to a one-year, two-way contract, general manager Ron Hextall announced Wednesday. The contract is worth $750,000 at the NHL level.
Caggiula has played 278 NHL games, split between the Edmonton Oilers, Chicago Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes and the Buffalo Sabres.
He spent last season with the Sabres, where he played in 18 games and scored two goals for five points in total.
