The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Colin White to a one-year, two-way contract worth $775,000 at the NHL level, the team announced Saturday.
White, 26, spent the 2022-23 season as a member of the Florida Panthers, suiting up for 68 games while scoring eight goals and 15 points. He also played in 21 post-season games on Florida's trip to the Stanley Cup Final, recording two assists.
A first-round pick of Ottawa in 2015, White spent the first six years of his career with the Senators, where he scored 36 goals in 224 games.
His career-best season came in 2018-19 as a 22-year-old with the Senators, registering 14 goals and 41 points in 71 games.
