The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Vinnie Hinostroza to a one-year, $775,000 contract, the club announced Friday.
Hinostroza, 29, has 53 goals and 95 assists in 360 career NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks, Arizona Coyotes, Florida Panthers and Buffalo Sabres.
The Chicago native was drafted by his hometown Blackhawks in the sixth round of the 2012 NHL Draft.
Hinostroza spent last season with the Sabres where he had two goals and 11 points in 26 games.
