The Pittsburgh Penguins have listed Alex Nedeljkovic as their starting goaltender for Sunday afternoon's game against the Winnipeg Jets.
Joel Blomqvist was listed as the backup for the game. The 22-year-old rookie has played in four of the last six games for the Penguins.
This means Tristan Jarry will be in the press box for Sunday's game. The veteran is 1-1-0 with a 5.47 goals-against average and a .836 save percentage this season.
In his last start, Jarry was pulled after allowing three goals on five shots in the first period against the Buffalo Sabres on Wednesday.
The Penguins also scratched Michael Bunting with the struggling forward scoring just one point in six games this season. Bunting played a season-low 12:47 minutes against the Carolina Hurricanes.
Nedeljkovic is making his season debut after he was injured during pre-season. The Penguins recalled the 28-year-old from a conditioning loan with the AHL's Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
The Parma, Ohio, native posted a record of 18-7-7 with one shutout, a 2.97 GAA and a .902 save percentage across 38 regular-season outings in 2023-24.
