The Chicago Blackhawks acquired centre Rem Pitlick from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday in exchange for a conditional seventh-round draft pick in 2026.
Pitlick has spent this season in the American Hockey League with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and has 24 points (eight goals and 16 assists) in 32 games.
Pittsburgh had acquired him from the Montreal Canadiens in August along with Mike Hoffman for Nathan Legare, Casey DeSmith, Jeff Petry and a second-round pick in 2025.
The 26-year-old Pitlick has 54 points (21 goals and 33 assists) in 123 games over four seasons with the Nashville Predators, Minnesota Wild and Canadiens.
