Tucker Poolman will make his return to the Vancouver Canucks lineup while Conor Garland is a scratch for the team's Tuesday night game against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Poolman missed one game following an undisclosed injury sustained in the first period against the Philadelphia Flyers on October 15. Poolman played only four minutes in the final three months of the 2021-22 season with recurring migraines.
His re-entry into the lineup follows the activation of fellow defenceman Tyler Myers, and forward Ilya Mikheyev from injured reserve on Tuesday. Poolman will play on the top-pairing with Quinn Hughes.
Garland's absence from the game was a coaching decision.
Backup goalie Spencer Martin is in net for his first start of the season, which comes as the result of a back-to-back following Monday night's loss vs. the Washington Capitals.
Fans can watch the game live starting at 4 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. ET on SN NOW.
