The Nashville Predators have signed free-agent forward Erik Haula, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman has learned.
The deal is for one year, and is worth $1.75 million, Sportsnet’s Chris Johnston can confirm.
Haula recorded 12 goals and 24 points last season in 48 games split between the Carolina Hurricanes and Florida Panthers. The 29-year-old was sent to the Panthers in the Vincent Trocheck trade in February.
In his NHL career, Haula has registered 85 goals and 175 points in 405 games.
The six-foot winger was drafted by the Minnesota Wild in the seventh round of the 2009 NHL Draft, 181st overall.
