The Nashville Predators inked goaltender David Rittich to a one-year, $1.25 million contract, the club announced Wednesday.

Rittich split the 2020-21 season between the Calgary Flames and the Toronto Maple Leafs with a 5-8-2 record, 2.86 goals-against average and one shutout. He was traded to Toronto on April 11.
The 28-year-old from Jihlava, Czech Republic, made 48 starts during the 2019-20 season picking up 24 wins plus an appearance in the NHL All-Star game.
