Defenseman Quinton Burns has signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the St. Louis Blues, the team announced Friday.
Burns was a third-round pick, 74th overall, by the Blues at the 2023 NHL Draft.
The six-foot-one, 185-pound Burns appeared in 58 regular-season games with the Kingston Frontenacs last season, recording 35 points (six goals, 29 assists) and 120 penalty minutes.
In total, the Smiths Falls, Ont., native appeared in 154 regular-season games with the Fronts, posting 68 points (eight goals, 60 assists) and 285 penalty minutes.
Burns also appeared in three games with Team Canada at the 2023 U-18 World Junior Championship, where he earned a bronze medal.
