New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba will miss two-to-three weeks with a lower-body injury, general manager Chris Drury told reporters Friday.
Trouba last played on March 4 against the Florida Panthers.
The defenceman has three goals and 19 assists in 60 games for the Rangers this season.
"We're very confident Jacob's going to be back (in time for playoffs), well rested and ready to go," said Drury.
New York currently sit atop the Metropolitan Division with a 40-18-4 record.
