The New York Rangers won't have one of their top goal scorers in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Forward Chris Kreider was ruled out and is considered day-to-day with an upper-body injury, the team announced Sunday.
The 33-year-old has 13 goals and 15 points in 34 games this season for New York. He is second on the team in goals behind Artemi Panarin.
The Rangers continue to struggle with five losses in their last six games and sit 14th in the Eastern Conference with a 17-20-1 record.
