New York Rangers star defneceman Adam Fox and forward Filip Chytil will be re-evaluated Friday after suffering injuries in Thursday's win over the Carolina Hurricanes, coach Peter Laviolette told reporters.
Fox exited after the first period with a lower-body injury.
Fox didn't play the final five minutes of the first period after a knee-on-knee collision with Hurricanes forward Sebastian Aho.
The play went unpenalized.
"I didn't like the hit," Laviolette said.
Fox is a two-time all-star and won the Norris Trophy as the league's top defenceman in 2021.
Fox, 25, has three goals and eight assists in 10 games this season. He had 72 points in 82 games last year.
Meanwhile, Chytil was ruled out after the second period with an upper-body injury.
Chytil has six assists in 10 games this season.
