New York Rangers forward Artemi Panarin said Thursday he is fine and expects to play another pre-season game after sustaining a lower-body injury on Tuesday, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Panarin and defenceman Ryan Lindgren both exited the Rangers' game against the New York Islanders early after they sustained lower-body and upper-body injuries, respectively.
Panarin was originally listed as day-to-day with his injury.
Panarin left the game near the six-minute mark in the third period. However, it's unclear how the four-time All-Star was hurt.
The Rangers play four more pre-season games, two against the New Jersey Devils, one against the Boston Bruins and one more against the Islanders.
The 32-year-old led the Rangers with 49 goals and 71 assists last season.
