New York Rangers centres Ryan Strome and Filip Chytil will be in the lineup for Game 5 against the Tampa Bay Lightning, head coach Gerard Gallant announced Thursday.
Chytil left Game 4 in the second period after taking a hit from the Lightning's Victor Hedman. He remained on the bench briefly before leaving to the dressing room. He did not return for the third period. Following the game, Gallant predicted that Chytil "should be fine" for Game 5.
Strome left Game 3 of the series with an unspecified lower-body injury. He took warm-ups ahead of Game 4, but ultimately did not play.
Chytil has been a significant part of the Rangers' offence this post-season as one-third of the 'Kid Line'. In 18 playoff games, Chytil has scored seven goals and notched 9 points. Three of his goals have been game-winners for the Rangers.
Strome has been held of the scoresheet this series, but has two goals and seven assists throughout this post-season.
Ryan Reaves will slot out of the lineup in Game 5, according to Dan Rosen of NHL.com.
