Buffalo Sabres defenceman Rasmus Dahlin was added to the NHL's COVID Protocol List Monday morning.

Eight other Sabres players -- forwards Taylor Hall, Tobias Rieder, Dylan Cozens, Curtis Lazar and Casey Mittelstadt, and defensemen Rasmus Ristolainen, Brandon Montour and Jake McCabe -- and head coach Ralph Krueger are already in the protocol.

Anyone on the protocol list is unable to practice, travel with the team or play in games until they are removed, but being on the list does not necessarily mean a person has tested positive for COVID-19.

The Sabres have had four games postponed so far and facilities have been closed since Tuesday. The team is currently scheduled to return to game action on Thursday at home against the Washington Capitals.

Dahlin, the first-overall pick in 2018, has three points in 10 games this season.
