The Detroit Red Wings have placed forward Filip Zadina on waivers, Sportsnet’s Elliotte Friedman reports.
Zadina appeared in just 30 games last season for the Red Wings, recording three goals and seven points.
The sixth-overall pick from the 2018 NHL Draft has struggled live up to the expectations, scoring 28 goals and recording 68 points in 190 career games for Detroit.
The 23-year-old has one year left on his deal with a $1.825-million cap hit.
