The Detroit Red Wings have signed forward Daniel Sprong to a one-year, $2-million deal, Sportsnet's Jeff Marek reported Saturday.
Sprong, 26, had a career-high 21 goals and 25 assists for 46 points in 66 games for the Seattle Kraken in 2022-23.
In 268 career games with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Anaheim Ducks, Washington Capitals and Kraken, the six-foot Sprong has 67 goals and 116 points.
The Penguins picked the Charlottetown Islanders product in the second round (46th overall) of the 2015 NHL Draft.
