Red Wings sign Dominik Kubalik to two-year, $5-million deal

The Detroit Red Wings signed left winger Dominik Kubalik on Wednesday to a two-year, $5-million contract.

The native of Czechia was selected in the seventh round, 191st overall, by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2013 draft. 

In 202 games with the Blackhawks, the 26-year-old has 62 goals and 54 assists for 116 points.

Kubalik is coming off a two-year, $7.4-million contract signed with the Blackhawks on Oct. 9, 2020.
