The Vancouver Canucks have been $50,000 by the NHL for holding on-ice training sessions with players in April after the conclusion of the 2022-23 regular season, per Rick Dhaliwal of CHEK News.
Dhaliwal reported the sessions took place between April 17 and 23 in Vancouver with up to six players working with Daniel and Henrik Sedin.
The Sedin brothers currently hold roles in player development with the Canucks organization.
Dakota Joshua and Jack Studnicka were two players named as having taken part in the sessions.
Teams are not allowed to have any members of the coaching staff or hockey operations work with players on the ice during the off-season.
