Josh Doan will make his way to the NHL after being recalled from the AHL by the Arizona Coyotes.
General manager Bill Armstrong announced Monday that Doan will make his NHL debut Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
The son of long-time captain Shane Doan leads all AHL rookies with 26 goals this season and 46 points with the Tuscon Roadrunners. He will wear jersey No. 91 in reference to his father's No. 19.
Doan, 22, was selected in the second round (37th overall) of the 2021 NHL Draft by the Coyotes. He then signed a three-year, entry-level contract in March 2023.
He joined the Roadrunners for 14 games last year after finishing his second season of NCAA hockey with Arizona State University.
