Jared McCann’s run as a Toronto Maple Leaf appears to have come to an end after four days.
According to Frank Seravalli of Daily Faceoff, the Seattle Kraken will be selecting the 25-year-old forward from the Maple Leafs in Wednesday night’s expansion draft.
McCann was acquired from the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday in exchange forward Filip Hallander and a seventh-round pick in the 2023 NHL Draft.
McCann scored 14 goals and recorded 32 points in 43 games last season with the Penguins.
