The Toronto Maple Leafs activated right winger Ryan Reaves off of injured reserve on Tuesday.
Tyler Bertuzzi, who is with his wife awaiting the birth of a child, has been designated as a non-roster player and will not count towards the team's 23-man limit.
Reaves, 37, hasn't been in the team's lineup since suffering a knee injury on Dec. 14. However, he told Sportsnet's Luke Fox that he's been ready for "a couple weeks."
In the summer, the Leafs signed Reaves, who was a free agent, to a three-year contract worth $1.35 million annually.
You can watch the Maple Leafs face the Winnipeg Jets on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ as part of Wednesday Night Hockey beginning at 7 p.m. ET/ 4 p.m. PT.
