Sabres agree to two-year contract with forward Jason Zucker

Jason Zucker is extending his time with the Buffalo Sabres.

Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reports that the Sabres and Zucker have agreed to a two-year, $9.5 million deal, with an average annual value of $4.75 million.

The 33-year-old is enjoying a productive season in Buffalo, scoring 18 goals and 55 points in 54 games this season.

The Newport Beach, Calif. native joined the Sabres on a one-year, $5 million deal this past off-season.

In 751 career games, Zucker has 214 goals and 414 points. He was drafted in the second round of the 2010 NHL Draft by the Minnesota Wild.
