Sabres, Avalanche swap third-round picks at NHL Draft

The Buffalo Sabres received a third-round pick (No. 71) in the 2024 NHL Draft from the Colorado Avalanche in exchange for a third-round pick (No. 76) and a fifth-round pick (No. 161) in the 2024 draft.

The Sabres selected Brodie Ziemer with their selection, while Colorado added forward William Zellers.
