The Buffalo Sabres claimed forward Tyson Jost off of waivers from the Minnesota Wild on Saturday.
Buffalo assigned forward Anders Bjork to the AHL's Rochester Americans to free up a roster spot for Jost.
Jost has registered three assists in 12 games this season.
The 24-year-old from St. Albert, Alta., was traded to the Wild from the Colorado Avalanche for Nico Sturm in March.
Drafted 10th overall by Colorado in 2016, Jost has 47 goals and 112 points over seven seasons with the Avalanche and Wild.
