Buffalo Sabres goaltender Eric Comrie exited Wednesday's game against the Ottawa Senators.
Senators' Mathieu Joseph collided with Comrie mid-way through the second period when Sabres defenceman Rasmus Dahlin hit Joseph as the forward was driving to the net.
Comrie would initially stay in the game briefly before exiting.
Veteran Craig Anderson replaced the 27-year-old. Comrie wasn't on the bench to start the third period.
Coming into tonight's contest, Comrie has started 10 games, posting a 4-6 record with a 3.62 goals-against average and a .885 save percentage in the 2022-23 season.
