Sabres' Rasmus Dahlin out vs. Lightning, listed day-to-day

Buffalo Sabres defenceman Rasmus Dahlin has been listed day-to-day and will miss Saturday's matchup against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

According to Buffalo News reporter Mike Harrington, Dahlin is dealing with an upper-body injury.

The cause of injury was not immediately made clear. Dahlin is coming off an eventful matchup against Carolina on Friday, during which he squared off in a fight with Hurricanes forward Jesperi Kotkaniemi.

The fight occurred in the first period. Dahlin did not exit the game, playing 26:58 in the 5-3 loss.

Dahlin's absence is a big loss for the Sabres, both offensively and defensively. The 22-year-old rearguard is off to a red-hot start this season, racking up seven goals and 15 points in his first 11 games of the season. He's been held off the scoresheet just once -- Oct. 27 versus Montreal.
