The Buffalo Sabres have re-signed Sam Reinhart to a one-year contract worth $5.2 million, the team announced Sunday.
Reinhart was a restricted free agent whose arbitration hearing was scheduled for Tuesday.
The 24-year-old appeared in all of Buffalo’s games for a third straight season in 2019-20, finishing with 22 goals and 50 points.
Reinhart, the second-overall pick in the 2014 NHL Draft, has been among the Sabres’ top three in scoring every season since 2015-16.
