Eric Comrie has been called up by the Buffalo Sabres and Devon Levi has been sent down to Rochester of the AHL, the team announced Saturday.
In seven appearances with the Sabres this season, Comrie, 28, is 1-5, with a 4.01 goals-against average and an .863 save percentage.
While with the Americans, the Edmonton native is 2-1, with a 1.67 goals-against average and a .951 save percentage.
Comrie will back up Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen on Saturday when the Sabres face the Lightning. Sportsnet's Jeff Marek reported that the switch is for one game.
Levi, 22, made 21 saves in Tuesday's 5-2 loss to the Seattle Kraken. In 19 games this season, the Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Que., native is 8-7-2 and has a 3.32 goals-against average and an .889 save percentage.
The Sabres are 14th in the Eastern Conference at 20-21-4 and are seven points out of the final wild-card berth.
