Jokiharju, 22, produced three goals and five assists in 46 games with the Sabres last season.
A 2017 Blackhawks first-round draft choice, Jokiharju was coming off an entry-level deal he signed with Chicago in 2018. The Oulu, Finland native was acquired by the Sabres following his rookie campaign in 2018-19 for forward Alex Nylander.
The signing comes just hours after the Sabres agreed to an identical three-year, $7.5-million deal with 22-year-old forward Casey Mittelstadt.
