Sabres sign defenceman Matt Irwin to a one-year, $700K deal

The Buffalo Sabres and defenceman Matt Irwin have agreed to a one-year, one-way contract worth $700,000.

Irwin, 32, recorded three assists in 36 games split between the Nashville Predators and Anaheim Ducks in 2019-20. He has also previously played for the Bruins and Sharks after going undrafted.
