The Buffalo Sabres are trading forward Rasmus Asplund to the Nashville Predators for a seventh-round pick in 2025, according to Sportsnet's Jeff Marek.
Asplund is a pending restricted free agent with a $825,000 cap hit.
The 25-year-old had two goals and six assists in 25 games for the Sabres this season.
The Sabres selected the Swede 33rd overall in 2016.
