The Seattle Kraken have signed forward Carson Rehkopf to a three-year, entry-level contract, the team announced Sunday.
The two-way deal carries a $950,000 AAV at the NHL level.
“We saw tremendous progress from Carson as he set multiple career highs in the OHL this season,” Kraken GM Ron Francis said in a release. “We are excited for him to officially join our organization.”
Rehkopf finished ninth in scoring in the Ontario Hockey League with 95 points (52 goals and 43 assists) in 60 games with the Kitchener Rangers.
He also had two goals and two assists in five games with Team Canada at the World Junior Championship.
The 19-year-old from Barrie, Ont., was drafted in the second round, 50th overall, by the Kraken in 2023.
