The Ottawa Senators have acquired defenceman Erik Gudbranson from the Anaheim Ducks in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft.
Gudbranson, 28, posted four goals and five assists in 44 games with the Ducks last season after he was traded by the Pittsburgh Penguins in October 2019.
Gudbranson has one year remaining on his three-year, $12-million contract, which will carry an average annual value of $4 million.
