Ottawa Senators forward Austin Watson has been fined $4,054 by the NHL's Department for Player Safety.
The fine stems from a play during Ottawa's 6-3 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday, where Watson, 30, interfered with Detroit's Dylan Larkin, though no penalty was assessed at the time.
The fine is the maximum amount allowed by the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
