The Ottawa Senators will have their captain back in the lineup Friday when they take on the San Jose Sharks.
The announcement came from Brady Tkachuk himself after the Senators' practice Friday morning.
Tkachuk, 25, missed two games after suffering a lower-body injury while playing for the U.S. at the 4 Nations Face-Off.
Tkachuk, along with Shane Pinto and Josh Norris, took regular line rushes at practice Friday.
Pinto, 24, has missed four games with an upper-body injury, while Norris, 25, has missed six games with an upper-body injury.
Head coach Travis Green said he is "hopeful" all three forwards will be in against San Jose.
Ottawa (29-25-4) sits four points behind the Columbus Blue Jackets for the final wild-card spot in the East.
