Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk was not able to finish Friday's 5-3 loss to the Arizona Coyotes due to an undisclosed injury.
Head coach Jacques Martin did not have an update on his condition after the game.
Tkachuk appeared to be shaken up by a collision near centre ice in the third period with Coyotes forward Liam O'Brien. Tkachuk was slow to get up after the collision and appeared in some discomfort as he made his way to the bench, but did remain in the game for a couple of more shifts.
Tkachuk's final shift ended with four minutes to play in the game and he was unavailable when the Senators pulled the goalie in an attempt to force overtime.
Tkachuk leads the Senators with 26 goals this season and is third on the team with 50 points.
The Senators return to the ice Saturday in Philadelphia against the Flyers on Hockey Night in Canada.
