Ottawa Senators forwards Tarun Fizer and Zack MacEwen left Saturday's game against the Montreal Canadiens with respective injuries and will not return, the team announced.
Fizer left with a lower-body injury, while an upper-body injury knocked MacEwen out.
MacEwen, 27, played with both the Philadelphia Flyers and Los Angeles Kings last season. He had four goals and six assists in 56 NHL games in 2022-23.
Fizer, 22, has yet to play in a regular-season NHL game. He spent most of last season with the Utah Grizzlies of the ECHL.
