The Ottawa Senators' goaltending depth has taken a serious hit.
Anton Forsberg was forced to leave Monday's game against the Los Angeles Kings after suffering what appeared to be injury, but coach Travis Green said after an 8-7 overtime win said the decision was based on Forsberg's play.
Forsberg allowed three goals before leaving the game.
Forsberg was replaced by Mads Søgaard, who was recalled by the Senators on an emergency basis after starting goaltender Linus Ullmark was unable to play with an undisclosed injury.
