Ottawa Senators forward Mathieu Joseph exited Friday's game against the Dallas Stars after sustaining a lower-body injury in the first period, the team announced.
Before exiting, the 26-year-old picked up an assist on Travis Hamonic's opening goal
Coming into Friday's contest, Joseph had scored six goals and recorded 12 assists in 24 games played so far this season.
Stars goalie Jake Oettinger also left the game with a lower-body injury.
