Senators' Matt Murray activated off IR after missing three weeks

Ottawa Senators starting goaltender Matt Murray has been activated off injured reserve after missing three weeks with an upper-body injury, the team announced on Thursday.

Roster update: The #Sens have made the following roster moves:

C Clark Bishop, LW Alex Formenton and G Filip Gustavsson have been recalled from the team's taxi squad.

C Artem Anisimov has been re-assigned to the team's taxi squad.

G Matt Murray has been activated (off IR).

Murray, 26, hasn’t played since leaving warmups prior to a game he was supposed to start against the Toronto Maple Leafs on March 14.

The two-time Stanley Cup champion was acquired by the Senators in October and has posted a 7-12-1 record with a .880 save percentage in his first season in the nation’s capital.
