The Ottawa Senators have lost another player to injury.
Bottom-six forward Noah Gregor suffered a lower-body injury in Thursday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.
After the team's loss, Senators coach Travis Green said he expected Gregor to be out for a while.
Gregor fell hard into the boards behind the Sabres net late in the second period after skating in at full speed on the forecheck. He slid feet-first into the boards and was slow to get up but was able to skate off the ice under his own power. Gregor immediately left the game after that collision and was ruled out as the teams returned for the third period.
The 26-year-old has six points in 35 games as a depth option for the Senators.
If he does miss time, he'll join an injured list that includes starting goaltender Linus Ullmark, defencemen Jacob Bernard-Docker and Travis Hamonic and forward David Perron.
