The Ottawa Senators could get a big boost to their lineup in an all-important Atlantic division clash.
According to head coach Travis Green, there's a strong possibility that Senators forward Shane Pinto makes his return from injury in Saturday night's matchup against the Boston Bruins.
Pinto has been out since Oct. 22 with an undisclosed injury and was considered week-to-week.
He returned to practice earlier this week and went through line drills at Friday's skate, centring the second line with Claude Giroux and Drake Batherson.
He has one goal and two assists in six games this season.
The 23-year-old has missed the team's last seven games, with the Senators going 2-5-0 in that span. With him in the lineup this season, Ottawa is 4-2-0.
Ottawa is currently 6-7-0 and sit seventh in the Atlantic division, two points behind their upcoming opponent in the Bruins.
