The Otttawa Senators' roster shakeup will continue with a trade.
The Senators cleared cap room by sending forward Mathieu Joseph and a third-round pick in next year's draft to the St. Louis Blues in exchange for future considerations.
Joseph has two years left on his contract, which has an average annual value of $2.95 million.
Joseph had 11 goals and 24 assists in 72 games last season.
The native of Laval, Que., has 55 goals and 80 assists for 135 points in 360 career games with the Tampa Bay Lightning and Senators.
