The Ottawa Senators made a contract announcement at their inaugural Spring Members Summit on Wednesday.
General manager Steve Staios announced that the team re-signed forward Angus Crookshank to a one-year, two-way contract.
The deal will have an average annual value of $775,000 at the NHL level and $120,000 in the AHL.
"Angus has established himself as a reliable point producer in Belleville," said Staios in a press release. “He’s a strong competitor and a proven goal scorer who doesn’t back down, especially when it comes to getting to the opponent’s net. We’re pleased with his progress and expect further improvement from him next season."
Crookshank, 24, made his NHL debut in December and had two goals and one assist over 13 games with the Senators.
The native of North Vancouver, B.C., tied for second in scoring on AHL Belleville last season. He had 24 goals and 22 assists over 50 regular-season AHL games.
Crookshank was drafted in the fifth round (126th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
