Senators recall defenceman Dillon Heatherington from Belleville

The Ottawa Senators have recalled defenceman Dillon Heatherington from Belleville off the AHL, the NHL team announced Wednesday.

Heatherington has two goals and three assists in 19 games with Belleville this season.

The Calgary native played nine games for Ottawa last season and didn't register a point.

The Senators are short on defence with Anton Zub out at least three weeks with a broken jaw and prospect Jacob Bernard-Docker out with a high-ankle sprain.
